There are many milestone birthdays in your life. At 16/17, you can drive a car. At 18, you become responsible for your own choices. At 21, you can ditch your fake ID. And, at 25 (for some reason) you can rent a car. But few birthdays seem full of more mystique, uncertainty, and apprehension than the big 4-0.
